Paint Nite is a relatively new phenomenon that I decided to try out on April Fools day this year. Basically, you sign up online, and head to a local bar where there is a canvas set up for you and all of your compadres. You drink beers while an instructor wearing a fitness headset explains how to paint the picture featured for that evening.
My cousin’s girlfriend received a Groupon for four of us for her birthday and the rest is history! We painted, we drank beers, we laughed, we lamented our lack of artistic skills, and most importantly – we got creative and made something out parents’ fridges would be proud of.
